Abstract
The British Romantic movement (c.1780s–1832) was a literary revolution that emphasised emotion, nature, and individual creativity over Enlightenment rationalism . Key Romantic poets include Wordsworth (1770–1850), Coleridge (1772–1834), Byron (1788–1824), Shelley (1792–1822), and Keats (1795–1821).
